Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"the most delicious custom sandwich, very nice atmosphere, warm and good people. a beautiful place, i feel like in a fashion library, lots of books, diaries and posters. They even have things for sale fixed in the library, super interesting."
"Located just in front of bustling West Ham station. Here, you may find an oasis with supreme mixture of art, books, climbing plants, cakes and deliciously curated seeded baguette. What a magical place to have stumbled upon this place. I fully recommend this place, with friendly and welcoming team. The only downside is that they don’t encourage laptops or, electronics to be used in their premises. Then again, who needs electronics when you’re surrounded with books, art, ceramics and visual knock-knacks. A true gem."
"Discovered this gem, outside West Ham Station when I was doing my CBT around this area. We were welcomed as soon as we entered the cafe and the staff here were very polite and welcoming. Food and coffee here were very good, so if your hungry and looking for a great spot in West Ham then RIAL is the spot for you! - I got the Mocha + J.Potato Tuna Melt w/Cheese"
"It’s been four years I have been walking pass this little hidden gem stone in the corner, very easy to miss. But I won’t miss it anymore. Let’s start from the look, which is very different and attractive. You are bound to fall in love with the shop at first sight. Then again all the books give it a essence of a book shop or a cafe where you can read book and enjoy your hot drink. I was thrilled to know that you can actually buy this stuffs which has a distinctive price tag of them. The furniture and the overall look is very artistic and significantly different from any other retail coffee shops or food places. Then let me mention about the stuffs who are very friendly and polite, while talking to them with all my surprised face, they didn’t let me realise it was our first meeting. It felt like awesome there, highly recommended place to visit at least once and see by yourself. however, let me write about the coffee as well, I am very fussy about my coffee and usually prefer cafe Nero over any other retail coffee places. But the coffee from here was fantastic, it was just perfect . Can’t wait to go there again HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! enjoy"
"Cute cafe opposite the train station. Very fast service for when you need your morning coffee and in a rush. Friendly environment and really nice staff. Got a deliciously sweet mocca and the biggest croissants ever."
"So happy to have found this cafe to grab a quick coffee and some breakfast. Cool vibes, fantastic service. When in West Ham - will definitely pay them a visit!"
"Awesome local cafe! Friendly owner and staff, great food (I had the Tuna Melt Panini), and a nice strong coffee. Highly recommend dropping in."
"I’d never been to the area before and was only there to do my CBT. Rial café was nearby and I popped in for my morning coffee. Found it so charming that I came back for every subsequent meal and coffee. Run by truly thoughtful people, great decor, warm vibe, great food and coffee. A quality neighbourhood cafe with lots of character. I wish Rial was near me :)"
